The role in detail

DT Infrastructure is the EPC contractor on Ganymirra and Majors Creek Solar Power Station, a solar farm near Woodstock, Queensland. This campaign recruits the surveyors of the Civil W1 wave.

What you will do

• Set out roads, pads, drainage, pile rows and cable routes from the design model
• Run as-built and conformance surveys and hand the records to QA and to the engineers
• Maintain the site control network and check it after every disturbance
• Support the piling and mechanical crews with layout as their fronts open

You will need

• A surveying qualification and experience on civil or renewable construction sites
• Fluency with GNSS and total-station equipment and with the office software behind them
• A White Card and a driver’s licence
• Care with records: an as-built is a document the project keeps for decades

Pay & conditions

• Employment: Full time
• Pay: $135,000 a year
• Accommodation details: Roster: Mon–Sat; 10-hour days; shuttle from Townsville. Site about 40 km from Townsville; transport from Townsville to be arranged by the candidate; no camp.
