These Terms apply to employers, recruiters and authorised representatives using Solar Jobs Australia.

2. Authority
By submitting information on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to do so.
You must provide accurate information and must not impersonate another employer, recruiter or organisation.
3. Job listings
Submitting a standard job listing is currently free.
Submission does not guarantee publication.
Solar Jobs Australia may:
- review a listing;
- request changes;
- correct formatting;
- decline publication;
- suspend a listing;
- mark an opportunity as filled; or
- remove a listing.
Employers remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of information they provide, including position descriptions, remuneration, locations, dates, eligibility requirements and number of positions.
Listings must not be false, misleading, unlawfully discriminatory or relate to employment that the submitting organisation does not reasonably believe exists.
4. Applications
Candidates may instruct Solar Jobs Australia to transmit application information to the employer or recruiter associated with a vacancy.
This information may include:
- name;
- telephone number;
- email address;
- CV;
- professional profile information; and
- application notes.
Once information has been delivered to you, you are independently responsible for handling it in accordance with applicable privacy, employment, anti-discrimination and other laws.
Candidate information must only be used for legitimate recruitment and related employment purposes.
It must not be sold, redistributed or used for unrelated marketing.
5. Recruiter contact information
Where you provide recruiter contact information, that information may be used to:
- administer listings;
- communicate concerning recruitment;
- deliver candidate applications; and
- where applicable and appropriately disclosed, enable eligible users to contact the recruiter concerning employment opportunities.
Where you provide another person's information, you represent that you have appropriate authority to provide it.

6. Company names, logos and trademarks
Company names may be displayed to identify organisations associated with jobs or projects.
Company logos may be displayed where Solar Jobs Australia has an appropriate basis to do so.
Any logo or brand material supplied by an employer must be material the employer is authorised to provide.
Third-party names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Publication of a company name, project, logo or publicly sourced vacancy does not by itself imply a partnership, endorsement or commercial relationship with Solar Jobs Australia.
7. No guarantee of candidates
Solar Jobs Australia does not guarantee:
- a particular number of applications;
- that a listing will receive applications;
- candidate suitability;
- candidate availability;
- candidate qualifications;
- that a candidate will accept employment; or
- any particular recruitment outcome.
Employers remain responsible for verifying candidate identity, qualifications, licences, tickets, work rights, references and suitability.
8. Employer enquiries
Information submitted through our employer forms may be used to respond to recruitment, listing, partnership and related enquiries.
Unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for an ongoing relationship, legal requirement, dispute or security purpose, employer-enquiry information may be deleted or de-identified after 24 months following the last substantive interaction.
9. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of material you provide.
You grant Solar Jobs Australia a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, format and display submitted material to the extent reasonably necessary to operate the listing and associated service.
You represent that you have sufficient rights to provide that material.
10. Removal and suspension
We may refuse, suspend or remove content where we reasonably believe it:
- is false or misleading;
- breaches applicable law;
- infringes third-party rights;
- creates a security risk;
- is unlawfully discriminatory;
- is no longer current; or
- materially breaches these Terms.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to mandatory rights, Solar Jobs Australia does not guarantee candidate suitability, application volume or recruitment outcomes.
12. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Employers and recruiters receiving candidate information become independently responsible for their subsequent handling of that information.
13. Applicable law
These Terms operate subject to applicable laws of Australia, including applicable Commonwealth, State and Territory laws.
