These Terms govern your use of Solar Jobs Australia and, where applicable, your subscription to the Solar Jobs Australia Pass.
1. Who we are
Solar Jobs Australia is an online platform focused on employment opportunities associated with utility-scale solar projects in Australia.

In these Terms, “Solar Jobs Australia”, “SJA”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Solar Farm Jobs Australia Pty Ltd.
Solar Jobs Australia provides a platform through which users may discover employment opportunities, submit applications, receive job alerts and access recruitment-related information.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Solar Jobs Australia is not the employer offering a position.
Employers and recruiters make their own independent recruitment decisions.
2. No guarantee of employment
Creating an account, using Solar Jobs Australia or purchasing a Solar Jobs Australia Pass does not guarantee that you will find a job.
We do not guarantee:
- an interview;
- a response from an employer or recruiter;
- consideration of an application;
- a job offer;
- employment within any particular period;
- continued availability of a vacancy;
- any particular number of vacancies or recruiter contacts;
- any particular salary, roster, project duration or start date; or
- any particular professional, employment or financial outcome.
Employers and recruiters independently decide whom they contact, interview and employ.
Historical statistics, previous candidate outcomes, employer numbers, listing numbers, testimonials or other information displayed on Solar Jobs Australia do not constitute a promise, prediction or guarantee of your individual results.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for ensuring that you hold or obtain any visa, work right, licence, qualification, ticket, certification or other authorisation required for a position.
Solar Jobs Australia does not guarantee that you satisfy the requirements of a particular employer or position.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate and current information.
Your account is personal and must not be sold, transferred or shared.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
We may suspend or terminate an account that:
- materially breaches these Terms;
- deliberately provides false or misleading information;
- attempts to circumvent subscription restrictions;
- scrapes or systematically extracts platform data;
- harvests recruiter information;
- resells information obtained through Solar Jobs Australia;
- uses the service unlawfully; or
- threatens the security or operation of the platform.
5. Free accounts
A free account may allow you to:
- browse and search listings;
- save jobs;
- create a candidate profile;
- upload a supported CV; and
- submit the number of free applications displayed on the platform.
At present, a free account includes one application through Solar Jobs Australia.
We may change the functionality of the free service from time to time.
6. Applications
To submit an application, we may require your full name, telephone number, CV and information relevant to the application.
When you deliberately submit an application, you instruct Solar Jobs Australia to transmit the information forming part of that application to the employer or recruiter associated with the vacancy.
Once delivered, an independent recipient may retain its own copy. Solar Jobs Australia cannot guarantee deletion or recall of information already received by an employer or recruiter.
Submitting an application does not guarantee that it will be reviewed or answered.
7. Job listings
Listings may be:
- submitted directly by employers or recruiters;
- associated with organisations working with Solar Jobs Australia; or
- created by our editorial team using legitimate publicly available information.
The publication of a company, project or vacancy does not by itself mean that the relevant organisation has a partnership, commercial relationship or recruitment agreement with Solar Jobs Australia.
Where Solar Jobs Australia expressly identifies a listing or organisation as a partner, exclusive opportunity or recruitment relationship, that description is used only where we have a reasonable basis for making that representation.
We take reasonable steps to review listings before publication. However, vacancies can be changed, postponed, filled, cancelled or withdrawn without notice.
Information including remuneration, workforce requirements, mobilisation dates, project dates and employment conditions may originate from employers, recruiters or public sources.
Candidates should independently verify employment conditions before accepting a position.
8. Solar Jobs Australia Pass
The Solar Jobs Australia Pass is an optional paid subscription providing access to additional platform features and information.
The Pass currently provides, subject to availability and applicable law:
- unlimited applications through Solar Jobs Australia;
- recruiter contact information where available;
- personalised job alerts; and
- other features expressly identified as Pass features.
What you are paying for
Your subscription fee purchases access to the features and information included in the Pass during your subscription period.
You are not purchasing employment.
You are not purchasing an interview.
You are not purchasing a response from an employer.
You are not purchasing preferential treatment.
You are not purchasing a guaranteed placement.
The value supplied under the Pass is access to the subscription features and information described above, not achievement of an employment outcome.
The availability and number of vacancies, projects, employers and recruiter contacts may vary throughout your subscription.
9. Recruiter contact information
Some listings may contain recruiter contact information accessible to eligible Pass subscribers.
Access to recruiter information does not mean that the recruiter has agreed to respond to every subscriber, interview a subscriber, consider every application or offer employment.
Recruiter information may only be used for genuine employment enquiries.
You must not:
- sell or redistribute recruiter information;
- publish it publicly;
- scrape or systematically collect it;
- create databases for resale;
- use it for unrelated marketing;
- use it to harass another person; or
- use it for purposes unrelated to genuine employment enquiries.
We may suspend access where these restrictions are breached.
10. Price and automatic renewal
The Solar Jobs Australia Pass currently costs:
AUD 99 per month
The applicable price and billing frequency are displayed before payment.
Payments are processed through Stripe.
The Pass is a recurring subscription. Unless cancelled, it automatically renews at the end of each billing period.
Your Pass becomes active once successful payment has been confirmed to Solar Jobs Australia.
A short processing delay may occur between payment and activation.
11. Cancellation
You may cancel your Pass at any time through your Solar Jobs Australia account.
There is no cancellation fee.
Cancellation prevents the next automatic renewal.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, your Pass remains active until the end of the billing period already paid.
Where available, you may reverse a scheduled cancellation before the end of the current subscription period.
12. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry payment.
Where applicable, Pass access may remain available for up to 7 days while payment recovery is attempted.
If payment is not successfully completed, Pass-only functionality may be removed.
13. Refunds
Except where required by law, we do not provide refunds merely because:
- you changed your mind;
- you did not use the Pass;
- you did not find employment;
- employers did not respond;
- applications were unsuccessful; or
- you found employment before the subscription period ended.
Not obtaining employment does not by itself mean that the Pass service was not supplied.
14. Australian Consumer Law
Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, condition, warranty, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.
Where you are legally entitled to a remedy, these Terms do not prevent you from exercising that right.
15. Taxes
Prices are displayed in Australian dollars.
Any GST or other tax that Solar Jobs Australia is legally required to collect will be identified as required.
Our tax and GST treatment may change if our registration obligations change.
16. Emails and job alerts
We may send communications reasonably necessary to operate your account, including verification, security, application and billing communications.
We may also send job alerts and other employment-related communications according to the preferences and permissions associated with your account and as permitted by applicable law.
Commercial electronic messages sent by Solar Jobs Australia will identify the sender and provide an appropriate means of unsubscribing where required by law.
You may also contact contact@solarjobsaustralia.com regarding your communication preferences.
17. Acceptable use
You must not:
- scrape the platform;
- systematically extract listings or contact information;
- circumvent access controls;
- share or resell your Pass;
- impersonate another person;
- knowingly submit false information;
- upload malicious or unlawful material;
- unlawfully republish listings;
- interfere with the service or API; or
- use information obtained through Solar Jobs Australia for unlawful purposes.
18. Account deletion
You may delete your Solar Jobs Australia account using the functionality provided by the platform.
Subject to applicable legal and legitimate retention requirements, deletion removes or de-identifies personal information that we no longer need.
CV files and candidate profile information held solely for operation of the account will be deleted when no longer required.
Information already delivered to an independent employer or recruiter cannot necessarily be deleted from that recipient's systems by Solar Jobs Australia.
Certain financial, security, fraud-prevention and application-delivery records may be retained where legally required or reasonably necessary.
Certain information already transmitted to an independent service provider, including information included in payment-provider records, may remain subject to that provider's own legal retention requirements.
19. Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Maintenance, security incidents, infrastructure failures and circumstances outside our reasonable control may temporarily affect Solar Jobs Australia.
20. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to mandatory rights, Solar Jobs Australia is not responsible for independent employment decisions made by employers or recruiters.
We do not guarantee the suitability of an employer or candidate, continued availability of a vacancy or any particular recruitment outcome.
Any exclusion or limitation contained in these Terms applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, applicable law, security requirements or our business.
Where required by law, material changes affecting an existing paid subscription will be communicated with reasonable advance notice.
Changes do not retrospectively remove statutory rights.
22. Applicable law
These Terms operate subject to applicable laws of Australia, including applicable Commonwealth, State and Territory laws.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from relying on mandatory rights available to you under applicable law.
