The role in detail

DT Infrastructure is the EPC contractor on Smoky Creek and Guthrie's Gap Solar Power Station, a solar farm near Biloela, Queensland. This campaign recruits the WHSE advisors of the Civil W1 wave.

What you will do

• Implement the project’s safety and environmental management plans on the ground
• Coach supervisors and crews, run inductions and toolbox talks, and verify permits and controls
• Investigate incidents and near misses, and close out the actions that come from them
• Audit subcontractors and report to the project management team

You will need

• A work health and safety qualification and construction site experience, ideally on renewable or civil projects
• Working knowledge of Queensland work health and safety and environmental regulation
• A White Card and a driver’s licence
• The standing to hold a line with a crew and the tact to keep the crew on side

• Employment: Full time
• Pay: $168,000 a year
• Accommodation: Camp accommodation
• Accommodation details: Roster: 2:1 DIDO/FIFO from Brisbane or Rockhampton. Construction camp with meals; 2:1 roster; DIDO/FIFO from Brisbane or Rockhampton.
