The role in detail

BAM BAM Pile Driving is recruiting for Smoky Creek and Guthrie's Gap Solar Power Station, a solar farm near Biloela, Queensland, delivered by DT Infrastructure as EPC. This campaign recruits the rig operators of the Piling W1 wave.

What you will do

• Operate a pile-driving rig to install steel piles to the design depth, plumb and alignment
• Work from the surveyor’s set-out and the piling crew’s marks
• Carry out pre-start checks and daily maintenance and report faults
• Record drive results and hand them to the inspector

You will need

• Proven experience operating piling rigs, ideally on solar farms
• The tickets for the plant you operate and a White Card
• A driver’s licence
• The care to hit tolerance on every pile: the tracker fixing that follows depends on it

• Employment: Casual
• Pay: $45 an hour + penalties
• Penalty rates: Yes — award penalty rates apply
• Accommodation: Camp accommodation
• Accommodation details: Roster: 2:1 DIDO/FIFO from Brisbane or Rockhampton. Construction camp with meals; 2:1 roster; DIDO/FIFO from Brisbane or Rockhampton.
