Solar Farm Constructions is recruiting for Culcairn Solar Farm, a solar farm near Culcairn, New South Wales, delivered by Equans Solar & Storage + Bouygues Construction Australia JV as EPC. This campaign recruits the ground crew of the Piling W1 wave: the labourers who feed, guide and check the piles the rigs drive for the trackers and the battery foundations.

What you will do

• Stage and handle steel piles and feed the piling rig with the crew
• Guide piles to the surveyor’s marks and check plumb and alignment during the drive
• Mark, record and tidy behind the rig so that the tracker crews find a clean row
• Keep the piling work front stocked, ordered and safe

You will need

• Construction or labouring experience is preferred; piling or solar experience is an advantage
• The physical fitness for repetitive outdoor manual work in a hot climate
• A White Card
• The habit of working safely around a rig and a moving crew

• Pay: $36 an hour + penalties
• Penalty rates: Yes — award penalty rates apply
• Accommodation details: Roster: Mon–Fri 07:00–16:45; Sat 08:00–12:00 — bus from Albury/Wodonga. Bus from Albury/Wodonga; no camp.
