The role in detail

Signal Energy Australia is recruiting for Winton North Solar Farm, a solar farm near Wangaratta, Victoria. This campaign recruits the telehandler and forklift operators of the Mechanical W1 wave.

What you will do

• Unload deliveries at the laydown and stage tracker steel and module pallets along the rows
• Operate telehandlers and forklifts safely among installation crews
• Complete pre-start checks and report defects
• Keep the laydown ordered so that the right material reaches the right row

You will need

• A telehandler or forklift licence and site experience with either
• A White Card and a driver’s licence
• Care for fragile loads: a dropped module pallet is a lot of glass
• The habit of working safely around people on foot

• Pay: $39 an hour + penalties
• Penalty rates: Yes — award penalty rates apply
• Accommodation details: Roster: Mon–Fri; 10-hour days. Commutable from Wangaratta / Benalla; no camp.
