The role in detail

Tranex Power is recruiting for Fulham Solar Farm and Battery, a solar and battery project near Sale, Victoria, delivered by GRS as EPC. This campaign recruits the labourers of the Mechanical W1 wave: tracker assembly, torque tube and rail fixing and the module installation that follows.

What you will do

• Assemble tracker components on driven piles and fix torque tubes, bearings and rails
• Carry, position and fix solar modules to the trackers to the installation procedure
• Torque and mark connections and complete the checklists the inspector reads
• Keep the row clean, the materials staged and the work front safe

You will need

• Construction or trade-assistant experience is preferred; solar experience is an advantage
• The fitness for repetitive outdoor manual work in a hot climate
• A White Card
• The habit of following an installation procedure to the letter

• Employment: Casual
• Pay: $41 an hour
• Accommodation details: Roster: Mon–Fri; 10-hour days. Commutable from Sale / Traralgon; no camp.
