The role in detail

Spinifex Recruiting is recruiting for Culcairn Solar Farm, a solar farm near Culcairn, New South Wales, delivered by Equans Solar & Storage + Bouygues Construction Australia JV as EPC. This campaign recruits the labourers of the Mechanical W3 wave: tracker assembly, torque tube and rail fixing and the module installation that follows.

What you will do

• Assemble tracker components on driven piles and fix torque tubes, bearings and rails
• Carry, position and fix solar modules to the trackers to the installation procedure
• Torque and mark connections and complete the checklists the inspector reads
• Keep the row clean, the materials staged and the work front safe

You will need

• Construction or trade-assistant experience is preferred; solar experience is an advantage
• The fitness for repetitive outdoor manual work in a hot climate
• A White Card
• The habit of following an installation procedure to the letter

• Pay: $40 an hour
• Accommodation details: Roster: Mon–Fri 07:00–16:45; Sat 08:00–12:00 — bus from Albury/Wodonga. Bus from Albury/Wodonga; no camp.
