The role in detail

ROBAR Civil Group is recruiting for Smoky Creek and Guthrie's Gap Solar Power Station, a solar farm near Biloela, Queensland, delivered by DT Infrastructure as EPC. This campaign recruits the labourers of the Civil W2 wave: earthworks, drainage, trenching and the pads and access roads the piling and mechanical fronts will follow.

What you will do

• Work alongside plant operators and the leading hand on earthworks, drainage and trenching
• Place and compact material and assist with the installation of pipes, pits and drainage
• Install erosion and sediment controls and keep them maintained
• Move materials, tools and equipment around the work area and keep work fronts and access roads clean and safe

You will need

• Experience on civil or construction sites is preferred, but not required for every position
• The physical fitness to perform repetitive outdoor construction work in a hot climate
• A White Card
• The ability to work effectively as part of a civil crew

• Employment: Casual
• Pay: $45 an hour
• Accommodation: Camp accommodation
• Accommodation details: Roster: 2:1 DIDO/FIFO from Brisbane or Rockhampton. Construction camp with meals; 2:1 roster; DIDO/FIFO from Brisbane or Rockhampton.
