The role in detail

Enerven is recruiting for SEC Renewable Energy Park – Horsham, a solar farm near Horsham, Victoria, delivered by OX2 as EPC. This campaign recruits the HV and substation electricians of the HV W1 wave.

What you will do

• Install and terminate HV cable, switchgear, transformers and protection and control equipment
• Carry out the secondary wiring and the earthing of the substation to the drawings
• Test what you install and complete the records the commissioning team will rely on
• Work under permit and isolation procedures at every step

You will need

• An electrical licence recognised in Victoria and proven HV or substation experience
• A White Card and a driver’s licence
• Familiarity with permit-to-work and isolation procedures on high-voltage plant
• The discipline that working near energised equipment demands

• Pay: $62 an hour + penalties

• Accommodation details: Roster: Mon–Fri; 10-hour days. Commutable from Horsham; no camp.
