About this project

132 MWdc of solar generation with an 81.5 MW / 562 MWh battery energy storage system near Waroona, in the South West of Western Australia, about 120 km from Perth. Frontier Energy Limited is the developer and owner; Monford Group is the EPC contractor for the solar farm and the battery, and Global Power Services delivers the substation. Mobilisation and site works began in September 2026; first generation is targeted for 2028.
