About this project
A solar farm of up to 135 MWac with a battery energy storage system of approximately 100 MW, developed by OX2 about 2.5 km east of Muswellbrook, New South Wales. Construction began in May 2026 with the Bouygues Construction Australia and Equans Solar & Storage joint venture (BYESSA) as EPC contractor; the developer expects operation in 2028.
