About this project

A solar farm of approximately 380 MWdc with a 281 MW / 843 MWh battery, developed by Lightsource bp next to the Woolooga substation at Lower Wonga, near Gympie, Queensland. Construction began in 2026 with a joint venture of INTEC Energy Solutions and Gotion Hi-Tech Australia as EPC partner; the developer expects the project to be operational in late 2028.
