The role in detail

Pilecom is recruiting for Maryvale Solar and Energy Storage, a solar and battery project near Wellington, New South Wales, delivered by PCL Construction as EPC. This campaign recruits the rig operators of the Piling W1 wave.

What you will do

• Operate a pile-driving rig to install steel piles to the design depth, plumb and alignment
• Work from the surveyor’s set-out and the piling crew’s marks
• Carry out pre-start checks and daily maintenance and report faults
• Record drive results and hand them to the inspector

You will need

• Proven experience operating piling rigs, ideally on solar farms
• The tickets for the plant you operate and a White Card
• A driver’s licence
• The care to hit tolerance on every pile: the tracker fixing that follows depends on it
