The role in detail

ACLE Services is recruiting for Solomon Airport Solar Farm, a solar farm near Tom Price, Western Australia, delivered by Fortescue as EPC. This campaign recruits the labourers of the Mechanical W3 wave: tracker assembly, torque tube and rail fixing and the module installation that follows.

What you will do

• Assemble tracker components on driven piles and fix torque tubes, bearings and rails
• Carry, position and fix solar modules to the trackers to the installation procedure
• Torque and mark connections and complete the checklists the inspector reads
• Keep the row clean, the materials staged and the work front safe

You will need

• Construction or trade-assistant experience is preferred; solar experience is an advantage
• The fitness for repetitive outdoor manual work in a hot climate
• A White Card
• The habit of following an installation procedure to the letter

• Pay: $40 an hour
• Accommodation: Camp accommodation
• Accommodation details: Roster: 2:1 FIFO from Perth. Existing camp and services at the Solomon Hub; FIFO from Perth; 2:1 roster.
