The role in detail

EPEC Group is recruiting for Maryvale Solar and Energy Storage, a solar and battery project near Wellington, New South Wales, delivered by PCL Construction as EPC. This campaign recruits the HV and substation electricians of the HV W1 wave.

What you will do

• Install and terminate HV cable, switchgear, transformers and protection and control equipment
• Carry out the secondary wiring and the earthing of the substation to the drawings
• Test what you install and complete the records the commissioning team will rely on
• Work under permit and isolation procedures at every step

You will need

• An electrical licence recognised in New South Wales and proven HV or substation experience
• A White Card and a driver’s licence
• Familiarity with permit-to-work and isolation procedures on high-voltage plant
• The discipline that working near energised equipment demands
