The role in detail

Enerven is recruiting for Culcairn Solar Farm, a solar farm near Culcairn, New South Wales, delivered by Equans Solar & Storage + Bouygues Construction Australia JV as EPC. This campaign recruits the HV and substation electricians of the HV W2 wave.

What you will do

• Install and terminate HV cable, switchgear, transformers and protection and control equipment
• Carry out the secondary wiring and the earthing of the substation to the drawings
• Test what you install and complete the records the commissioning team will rely on
• Work under permit and isolation procedures at every step

You will need

• An electrical licence recognised in New South Wales and proven HV or substation experience
• A White Card and a driver’s licence
• Familiarity with permit-to-work and isolation procedures on high-voltage plant
• The discipline that working near energised equipment demands

Pay & conditions

• Employment: Casual
• Pay: $82 an hour
• Accommodation details: Roster: Mon–Fri 07:00–16:45; Sat 08:00–12:00 — bus from Albury/Wodonga. Bus from Albury/Wodonga; no camp.
