The role in detail

Equans Solar & Storage + Bouygues Construction Australia JV is the EPC contractor on Culcairn Solar Farm, a solar farm near Culcairn, New South Wales. This campaign recruits the surveyors of the Civil W1 wave.

What you will do

• Set out roads, pads, drainage, pile rows and cable routes from the design model
• Run as-built and conformance surveys and hand the records to QA and to the engineers
• Maintain the site control network and check it after every disturbance
• Support the piling and mechanical crews with layout as their fronts open

You will need

• A surveying qualification and experience on civil or renewable construction sites
• Fluency with GNSS and total-station equipment and with the office software behind them
• A White Card and a driver’s licence
• Care with records: an as-built is a document the project keeps for decades

• Pay: $135,000 a year
• Accommodation details: Roster: Mon–Fri 07:00–16:45; Sat 08:00–12:00 — bus from Albury/Wodonga. Bus from Albury/Wodonga; no camp.
